Zoé Lavergne is an associate in the family law team.
Zoé holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a specialization in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated with distinction in 2022. During her studies, Zoé worked with the Women's Division of the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and represented clients before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.
A proud Francophone, Zoé is passionate about access to justice in both official languages. She volunteered as a translator for the Common Law Student Society and worked in communications for the Canadian Francophonie Research Chair in Language Rights.
In her spare time, Zoé enjoys the outdoors, personal fitness, and cooking for her family and friends.
Zoé joined the Vincent Dagenais Gibson team as a summer student in 2021. She has since worked on civil litigation, Small Claims Court and family law files. She is particularly interested in the practice of family law for its focus on interpersonal relationships and its ability to resolve issues both in court and out of court.
